1 cup frozen green peas, thawed
2 cups homemade beef broth (unsalted) - you may change it to chicken/fish/vegetable broth
Cook thawed green peas with broth until green peas are soft when mashed.
Mix cooked green peas with broth in a food processor. If you don't have food processor, you can mashed it with fork or spoon until really smooth.
Let mixture cool, then using silicone mold or any jelly/pudding/ice mold, pour it in. Freeze then serve!
1 medium sized sweet potato
1/3 cup unsweetened, unsalted peanut butter (homemade best!)
Steam sweet potato until soft, then mashed
Fold in peanut butter and mix well
For toy filler: let mixture cool and apply directly to dog's toy as per instructed by the toy's manufacturer
For frozen treat: let mixture cool, then using silicone mold or any jelly/pudding/ice mold, pour it in. Freeze it then serve!
Storage instruction: always keep it clean and refrigerated in airtight container.
1/2 cup fresh strawberries pureed
125 grams unsweetened skim plain yogurt***
Put pureed strawberries and yogurt in a blender and blend together until it mix well and smooth.
Pour mixture into jelly/pudding/ice cube molds, freeze and serve.
*** if your dog is lactose intolerant (milk products upset your dog's tummy), substitute yogurt with a lactose free yogurt, soy based yogurt, or mix it with beef or chicken broth (natural, no added salt and homemade best!). When using broth, the treats won't be as creamy as using yogurt, but your dog will enjoy it nonetheless and without messy tummy problems!
